Artist Biography

A native of Dublin, Sheila Naughton is an Honours graduate of NCAD and Ecole Cantonale des Beaux Arts et d’Arts Appliquees, Lausanne, Switzerland. Having worked in industry and education for over twenty five years, Sheila now works as a full time artist.
Recently, Sheila was selected for a solo exhibition “Lightspill” at The Higher Bridges Gallery, Enniskillen in 2016. Group exhibitions in 2017 include the RHA Annual Exhibition in Dublin, “Cairde” Visual” at The Model Arts Centre in Sligo, a group exhibition at GOMA in Waterford, VUE at the RHA Gallery in Dublin and “Visible” at Dunamaise Arts Centre, Portlaoise.
In 2018 a two person exhibition “Striae” was held at the Olivier Cornet Gallery in Dublin and work was also selected for this years RHA annual exhibition.
Sheila is an associated gallery artist at The Olivier Cornet Gallery in Dublin and her work has recently been purchased by the OPW for the State Collection.
