Course Concept
The course will take place in studio and outdoors. Acrylic paints are an ideal medium to paint outside and especially for beginner artists to gain confidence. Steve will show how to handle acrylic paints, the equipment needed to paint outside or at home.
Steve will show tips on composition and the flexibility of acrylics to change colours and alter perspective. Students should finish the course confident in the medium and with the knowledge of how to improve their painting. And most importantly, students should finish the course having had fun and be able to enjoy the art of acrylic painting and bringing home finished work.
* The course takes place in the beautiful village of Dunmore East and in Artform modern light-filled seaside studio with 24hr access for each visiting artist, and runs from 11am to 5pm on the first day and from 10am to 4pm from the second day. Cost does not include accommodation, on request Artform offers artist accommodation options. Details on art materials will be provided after signing up to the course.
