Abstraction is a means of noting that which has no fixed physical form. Colour, shape, texture and the ineffable can be combined to make an object which expresses that which has no words. Most people have important relationships with colour – we will be taking a deep look at our own preferences, connecting to ourselves through the senses and finding ways to make something non figurative infused with personal vision. This course is for all levels, no experience of working abstractly or with water based media is necessary.
* The course takes place in Artform modern light-filled seaside studio with 24hr access for each visiting artist, as well as in the beautiful seaside environs of Dunmore East, co. Waterford, and runs from 11am to 5pm on the first day and from 10am to 4pm on the subsequent days. Cost does not include accommodation, on request Artform offers artist accommodation options. Details on art materials and will be provided after signing up to the course.
